Reablement Support Worker

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Sustainable Transport Team. The role of the Road Safety Officer is to design, implement, lead and participate in the delivery of the Council’s Road Safety Education, training and publicity programme in accordance with agreed policies and priorities. Undertake the delivery of road safety education, training, promotional and awareness campaigns utilising a variety of delivery mechanisms including partnership working and digital technology. The individual will also assist with the operation of the School Crossing Patrol service which includes recruitment, training, monitoring, organisation, and supervision of School Crossing Patrols. Candidates should be able to demonstrate qualifications or experience relating to the technical and professional aspects of road safety education, training and publicity, and the liaison with external organisations to facilitate partnership working.
