The CCTV service is a 24/7 function and the successful candidate will support the 24hr running of the service 7 days per week on a shift basis.</p>\n<p><strong>Your Contributions:</strong></p>\n<p>Halton Council is seeking to recruit a CCTV Monitoring Operative to work in its control room to monitor and operate public CCTV cameras for public safety, and to detect and deter crime and disorder.</p>\n<p>The Control room operates 24 hours a day 7 days per week on a rolling rota basis. Your shifts will be a variation of afternoons, nights and earlies, consisting of 3 x 8 hour shifts, including weekends.</p>\n<p>This role plays a crucial part in the prevention and detection of crime and creating a safer public space. It involves liaising with emergency services, partner agencies and internal departments to ensure a timely response is achieved.
