You might have experience from a Local Authority background, from a school, college, or Early Years background, you might come from a Health Service or third sector background too. Certainly, you’ll have a good knowledge and experience of the SEN system, and you will have a demonstrable understanding of the SEN Code of Practice, and you’ll be aware of changes that might be coming in the SEN system, and what that might mean for councils, schools, and most of all children and young people.&nbsp;&nbsp;
For those wanting to join our PFA team, you’ll have an understanding of what it means to Prepare for Adulthood, and a working knowledge of the concept of post-16 and post-18 provision and placements.&nbsp;&nbsp;
You’ll be good at communicating, able to share the positive and the difficult messages which come with SEN, confident in the knowledge that your managers and local leaders will support you. You’ll do this with empathy, with kindness, but also with clearness and confidence.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The role will predominately be assisting the Project Manager&nbsp;to provide effective administrative and coordination support in the delivery of void property works, ensuring properties are turned around efficiently and in line with organisational lettable standards. Job Title: Social Worker – MASH Team Location: London Borough of Havering Grade: G7/8 - £43680 - £53172 (plus £4k MS)&nbsp; Directorate: People – Starting Well Contract Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)/Front Door team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people by delivering high-quality intervention within social care services in line with statutory requirements and best practice. As part of our Starting Well service, you will manage a varied caseload, conduct thorough assessments, and work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and improve outcomes for children and families. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Hold and manage a diverse caseload, ensuring cases are effectively assessed and managed. Utilising specialist knowledge for appropriate interventions, needs and risk assessments, care planning, child in need and child in care processes and child protection investigations.</li> <li>Undertake high-quality assessments ensuring they are child centred, community focused. To work with multi-agency network to support in delivering interventions to bring about positive change through developing effective relationships and to secure the best outcomes for children and young people.</li> <li>Identify and assess levels of risk and need, delivering protective or supportive services for children at risk, in need, or looked after.</li> <li>Maintain accurate, timely case records and reports in line with departmental standards.</li> <li>Contribute to the continued delivery of an effective Children Social Care service as part of a social work team, improving outcomes for children and young people in line with statutory and departmental policies, procedures and guidance.</li> </ul> About You <ul><li>Qualifications: CQSW, Degree in Social Work, CSS or equivalent.
