ReLondon works with a multitude of individuals and organisations in London, across the UK and around the world, and has become recognised as a world leader in Circular Economy thinking and practice.</p>\n<p>ReLondon is looking to develop and diversify their income streams to include more commercial offers and paid for services, as well as targeted statutory funding. This is an area of work which needs growth in order to be financially sustainable and deliver against statutory objectives. It is a significant challenge and so we are seeking leaders in this field to bring their knowledge, skills and experience of developing successful income streams in similar organisations in the public or NGO sectors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Main purpose of the role</strong></p>\n<p>ReLondon’s Board develop the overall strategic direction of ReLondon (the London Waste and Recycling Board); promote ReLondon’s vision, values and culture and to help ensure the implementation strategic plans; and provide good governance and make strategic decisions on the allocation of resources.</p>\n<p>The Board is responsible for developing strategy, providing good governance and directing ReLondon towards achieving its mission. They are advised by the Strategic Resources Committee on financial and people matters but decisions are made by the Board.</p>\n<p>You will need to attend four formal Board meetings per year, plus occasional workshops to develop the organisation’s strategy and business plans.
