We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to support our current Liquid Logic Analyst in delivering system support across a range of Children’s Services teams. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with various departments to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our Liquid Logic database system and the associated processes. 
The systems officer will be office based, providing onsite support to all Children Services teams, including, but not limited to MASH, Children in Need/Child Protection, Children in Care, Business Support, Leaving Care, Joint Service for Children with Disabilities, EISS, Fostering, Special Guardianship, Data and performance team, and Placements. 
You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, by providing quick and efficient support, advice, and new information. To do this, you must be able to confidently communicate with the workforce, whether this be face to face, by phone or by written format. You should demonstrate solution focused thinking, coupled with a high level for attention to detail.

About the role
The post holder will be responsible for building effective strategic relationships on behalf of the Mayor of London and the Greater London Authority (GLA). Social Care Officer £37,068 - £38,058 per annum About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly created Social Care Officer post within the Mental Health Adult Social Care Access Team (MHASCAT). MHASCAT is the front door service for all new referrals into mental health social services which sits within the Primary Care Networks (PCN) space in conjunction with our health colleagues. We are looking for a Social Care Officer who wants to develop their skills with case work under the Care Act 2014, undertaking assessments of need, completing support plans and working with residents and carers to maximize independence and improve well-being, ascertaining the level of need and signposting as appropriate. Other duties include but are not limited to, daily screening of all new referrals that come through our Duty system. This includes referrals from health (including GP’s and hospitals), other teams within LBN such as Children’s Services and housing, out of borough cases that may require thorough background research, and self-referrals from residents and their carers and families. You will also take phone calls from the general public, giving advice to residents and families about what support is available to them within LBN social services as well as have knowledge of charities and other partner organisations within Newham. As a Social Care Officer, you will need to be able to make judgement calls with your line manager on the appropriateness of the referral, the type of support that you feel the resident requires, and signpost accordingly. Most of the role will be over the telephone and virtually, however you may be asked to undertake emergency home visits if and when required. The domestic decarbonisation team is responsible for delivering the Mayor’s objective to accelerate and upscale housing retrofit in London in partnership with London Councils. boroughs, housing associations and other key partners.&nbsp;A&nbsp;new joint endeavour of the GLA and London Councils, Warmer Homes London, has been established to accelerate the pace and scale of quality retrofit across the capital. About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced leader to take forward a range of health policy work including, londons&nbsp; Health Inequalities Strategy , mental health and health and work. The role includes a varied and interesting portfolio of work and lots of great opportunities for learning and development.
This is a senior leadership role where agility, strategic thinking and collaboration are key. One day you might be leading work on reducing health inequalities; the next, shaping policy on mental health, health and care reforms and then to work and health.
You’ll work closely with Senior Leaders across the GLA , NHS and london boroughs, along with CVS sector to deliver high-impact policy and projects that make a real difference to Londoners' lives.
You’ll also lead and inspire a talented team, building strong relationships with a diverse range of partners across sectors.

<h2>Skills, knowledge and experience</h2>
To be considered for the role you must meet the following essential criteria:

Detailed knowledge and understanding of key health policy areas and the operational delivery context.&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Knowledge of, and experience in working at a senior level in the delivery of complex programmes in health, health inequalities or the health and care system.&nbsp;

Senior programme development and delivery expertise including the ability to develop and procure outcome-based programmes.&nbsp;

Senior Manager

Chelmsford City Council are recruiting a Senior Building Control Technician to work within our Building Control Services Team.
The Senior Building Control Technician will provide technical support to the team manager and Building Control Officers which will include registering and validating the different types of applications that are relevant to the functions and activities of Building Control Services. The successful applicant will provide frontline support to external customers and their agents in relation to the submission of building regulation applications, initial notices, and demolition notices.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for raising invoices for building control charges and be able to answer general queries from customers either on the phone or by e-mail. Additional duties include assisting the team manager in the maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the preparation of reports for statutory returns.
The post holder will need to possess a good technical aptitude which will include the ability to examine, interpret and measure architectural drawings to calculate floor areas and the correct financial charges. They should also be familiar with invoicing processes and have experience in using software for document processing and management systems. Prior experience in using GIS systems is beneficial.
This is a customer facing role, so you need to be able to communicate clearly, confidently, and tactfully with a range of people. You should be highly motivated and be able to work on your own initiative and with other members of the team to provide a customer focussed service. Training will be given for the specialist aspects of the role and the applicant will be required to complete a level 3 qualification in building control technical support.
