The Revenues and Benefits Service has an exciting opportunity to recruit 5 new Collection &amp; Recovery officers within the Debt and Income Maximisation Team. About the candidate:
You will have an understanding of income and debt processing procedures, withknowledge of relevant specialist legislative requirements eg. Council tax, business rates, accounts receivable and benefits. The successuful candidate will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
You can expect to join highly dedicated teams and work with skilled and committed managers to take forward our ambitious and exciting change programme. Focussed on continuous improvement and quality services you will work in a supportive environment, with a strong leadership team, giving stability, direction and energy to the service and making a difference.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Technical Officer to join our team, with a specific focus on investigating, diagnosing and resolving issues related to damp, mould and disrepair across our housing stock.&nbsp;
You will play a key role in ensuring that homes are maintained to a high standard and are safe, warm and habitable for our residents. This is an essential position that supports our commitment to tackling housing-related health hazards and delivering excellent customer service. You may be required to:
- Undertake property inspections and diagnostics focused on damp, mould, condesation, and general disrepair.&nbsp;
- Produce clear and detailed inspection reports including photographic evidence, schedules of work, and technical recommendations.&nbsp;
- Liaise with residents to investigate complaints and explain findings and remedial works.&nbsp;
- Instruct and supervise contractors, ensuring works are carried out to a high standard and within agreed timescales.&nbsp;
- Keep accurate records using the organisation's asset and housing management systems.&nbsp;
- Contribute to continous service improvement and support programmes aimed at preventing damp and disrepair issues.
