This is an exciting opportunity to join the Independent Travel Training Service. Travel trainers support adults and young people with disabilities and/or autism to travel confidently, safely and independently across the borough so they can access school, further education or day care settings.

About the Role
We are recruiting for a Project Manager to coordinate a multi-year project delivering retrofit decarbonisation, heat networks and solar PV to sites and public buildings across the City Region.
The role will collaborate with stakeholders including funders, local authorities, supply chain and delivery partners and work alongside the North West Net Zero Hub using a standardised project management framework, methodologies, tools and templates.&nbsp; However, you will have the autonomy to determine the best way forward for your project, motivating and leading the project team throughout the project lifecycle.

About the Role&nbsp;
You will be responsible for proactive, preventative Cyber Security measures and to have an awareness of the threat landscape both internally and externally to LCRCA and play an active role in support, guidance and escalation routes for Service Centre colleagues.&nbsp;

The service is made up of 4 teams – family and friends assessment and support, family and friends supervision and support, mainstream recruitment and assessment and mainstream supervision and support.&nbsp; We have social work vacancies across 2 of the teams (family and friends assessment and support and mainstream supervision and support) and we are looking for people who have an interest in and value the excellent work foster carers do and with a knowledge and understanding of fostering services including fostering standards and regulations, family and friends related assessments, care proceedings and fostering panel. Previous experience in a fostering environment is desirable but not essential as your attitude, motivation, and transferable skills is what interests us.
