Employment and Volunteer Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, committed individual to join our supportive team and help to provide the very best outcomes for vulnerable adults in Barnsley.

In your role you will oversee the journey of people with learning disabilities, autism and learning difficulties into work or volunteering, working to the five-stage model of Supported Employment. You will work closely with our customers to develop comprehensive vocational profiles that enable our Employer Engagement coordinator to match them to suitable, sustainable employment and volunteering opportunities, overseeing any in work support and monitoring and reviewing regularly to ensure any problems are overcome.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with the right skills and experience to bring to the team, who has the creativity and drive to support the employment market.

The ideal candidate will have had experience working in a social, educational or training setting with vulnerable adults and supervising a team.

You will need a level 3 qualification relevant to the role, and/or training/teaching.

You’ll be required to have an enhanced DBS check. If you live overseas or have lived overseas in the last five years, if you are the preferred candidate for the post, you will be required to apply for an overseas criminal records check from the country you have live in.
