This role is your chance to be part of something new and exciting. As the first point of contact with the Analytics and Insight team in People Services, you'll be supporting the Senior Advisor and Manager by keeping things running smoothly in our HR and payroll system, and working with reports to create insights that drive decision making across the Council.
The role will also support our Systems and Service Improvement team when required, assisting in projects, creating data and insights and recording accurate information.
You'll be part of our wider People Services team, where we lead the way in making Staffordshire a great place to work by handling everything from helping staff grow their skills, creating a safe and positive workplace, and supporting employees.

Main ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities of this role include:
- Produce and distribute standard reports for the organisation
- Undertake day-to-day management of shared mailboxes, responding to queries and report requests to ensure a great customer experience
- Maintain the organisational management structure within our HR systems through the collation, checking and processing of organisation management changes
- Support with large scale data validation exercises through data and insights, e.g. pay awards, incremental progression, annual leave entitlements and term time working
- Support the completion of statutory returns and ensuring that the team’s work complies with applicable statutory regulations
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent qualification) or equivalent experience working in an administrative role.
- Experience of using ICT including Microsoft Office, Excel and other systems to gather, analyse and present information
- Experience in interpreting information from a range of sources to produce reports
- Experience in entering and maintaining data within computerised systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to contribute to outstanding team performance.
