An opportunity has arisen within our Family Resource Service, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional Common Assessment Framework (CAF) Coordinator to lead on our multi agency partnership work within Redbridge Children’s Services.
We are proud that our Redbridge Children and Families Service was recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for the second time and is now taking forward the DfE’s Families First for Children Pathfinder Programme.
This exciting new Pathfinders programme will support families to access the right help at the right time to overcome challenges, stay together and thrive. Aligned with this will be expert multi-agency safeguarding arrangements to protect children and young people from harm.
Joining us would give you the opportunity to participate in the continuous development of our service whilst receiving supportive management and access to quality learning, development and research materials.
Purpose of role:
- Promoting the development and operation of CAF processes across Redbridge.
- Implementing integrated working across external partner agencies, including education, health and the voluntary sector.
- Identifying training needs for practitioners in the use of CAF process and facilitation of training programmes.
- Providing oversight and support to external partner agencies in the completion of Common Assessment Framework, championing the multi-agency approach to support plans.
- Reporting on our partnership work and monitoring trends in local needs.
- You will require significant skills of negotiation and influence in order to gain full engagement
- experience of working effectively and in partnership with both senior managers and practitioners.
- Good working knowledge of ‘Early Intervention’, ‘The Continuum of Need’ and the Department for Education (DfE) ‘Families First for Children (FFC) Pathfinder Programme’.
