The successful candidate will be jointly responsible for managing a licensing team of four officers and dealing with a wide variety of licensing and animal welfare matters.</p>\n<p>This is a fast-paced service and no two days are ever the same. You will have the knowledge and experience to prepare, update and implement policies and procedures, deal with enquiries and complaints, and undertake enforcement action where required. Accuracy and attention to detail is crucial, given the important role that licensing plays in ensuring public safety as well as a proven ability to deal with difficult customers in a calm manner.</p>\n<p>We are seeking an individual who can effectively prioritise their workload against targets and meet deadlines and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
