The<strong> Adult Social Care Commissioning and Contracts Lead</strong> will focus on developing and quality-assuring our portfolio of contracts in Adult Social Care to ensure they meet the needs of Rutland’s adults.</p>\n<p>This is a new role working across Adult Social Care and is an excellent opportunity to ensure our commissioned services deliver the highest quality, aspirational services.</p>\n<p><strong>About You:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be a flexible thinker; enjoy new challenges; have good analytical and communication skills; be able to work individually and as part of a team.</li>\n<li>You will have strong interpersonal skills, a proven ability to negotiate and be good at working in partnership to seek more creative and effective ways of working.</li>\n<li>You will be able to work at pace and effectively prioritise competing demands.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of current legislation and policy.</li>\n<li>Experience of re designing, managing and embedding change.</li>\n<li>Able to influence change, negotiate, analyse and take calculated risks.</li>\n<li>Personal and professional credibility and a high level of probity and integrity.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About the role…</strong><strong><br></strong>As the Adult Social Care Commissioning and Contracts Lead you will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and quality assure existing placements and contracts to ensure value for money.</li>\n<li>Support the Directorate Management Team to identify savings and achieve value for money in relation to placement commissioning across Adult Social Care services.</li>\n<li>Produce key strategic documents</li>\n<li>Lead fee and price negotiations on an individual and service wide basis.</li>\n<li>Devise new and creative service delivery models for both internal and external providers</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please note, this role involves travelling around the County.</p>\n<p>The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
