We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join us in a rare opportunity for our Adult Social Care Team. You will become part of an award winning stable team, where we provide the opportunity to grow, develop and join an innovative support service. We welcome all applications as well as from Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs).
Thurrock prides itself on working differently with our communities, investing in strength based preventative work and intervening in someone's life journey only when necessary. You will need to be an excellent communicator and able to work alongside colleagues in health and voluntary organisations.
We will offer you excellent support, as well as regular caseload audits ensure a manageable workload, good supervision ensures safe practice, and development opportunities will help you grow as a practitioner.
For this post you will need to have at least 1 years' post qualifying experience, and good sound knowledge of working with older people, and people with impairments.
