Reporting to the Council’s Head of Buildings, Facilities and Administration, you will help deliver the Council’s building repairs plan through planned and responsive works across the Council’s property portfolio (which includes several leisure centres but not any housing). In addition you will support the Estate Service Manager in delivering the Council’s Estates function through the provision of advice to internal and external customers relating to Council owned land, maintaining record systems and producing plans/maps.
With a minimum of GCSE level education, or equivalent, you will have either experience of working in a commercial building maintenance/surveying role or recently completed a relevant qualification and are looking to apply what you have learnt. You will have excellent IT and communications skills and will be able to travel independently, using your own car, throughout the borough to various sites.
