Job Title: Project Officer
Salary Range: £24,799pa progressing to £33,799pa
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Fixed Term or Secondment for 18 months
We’re seeking a Project Officer to join our team to support the delivery of Hertfordshire’s vision as a “County of Opportunity” and respond to our ever-changing environment.
In the Improvement team, we manage a wide range of HCC strategic projects and programmes, which cover areas of technology, change management, procurement and service innovation.
To do this, we work with a range of people within our organisation and beyond to deliver, encourage, and enable service improvement & innovation by driving forward smarter ways of working. In particular, we are at the heart of championing and delivering the business improvement, technology, and cultural change needed for these changes to succeed.
Our project officers are self-motivated, resilient and organised team players and able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the right result. You’ll thrive on working on multiple projects supporting the delivery of service improvement and efficiencies.
If you’re considering this role, you will:
Have supported projects before or have relevant transferable experience Have an eye for detail and enjoy producing and maintaining project documentation and analysis; Be comfortable working across multiple projects, juggling priorities to support colleagues effectively.
