Barnsley Council and its partners are ‘working together for a brighter future and a better Barnsley’. We are taking a holistic early help approach to effectively target our support to families so that we realise better outcomes for our residents and communities.
The two posts advertised (Data and Tracking Officer & Information & Data Support Officer) sit within the Think Family Team which is responsible for data collation, interrogation and analysis to demonstrate the impact of the range of support and services working with families.
This data processing work is part of the local and national evaluation requirements of the Government’s Troubled Families Programme. The two posts will support the final year of this delivery and continuity beyond the end of the current programme.
Applicants should have experience of using and interpreting data, experience of using a breadth of Microsoft Office programmes and data management systems.
They should also be knowledgeable about data sharing, be able to analyse data and translate it into intelligence that enables the programme to develop to support early help to be embedded across Council and partner services
