An opportunity for a part-time Finance Assistant has arisen to join Brokerage Support Team which is part of Children’s Services based in Stevenage.
The role will be to provide a variety of financial support to the Children Looked-After Services including: managing grant claims and payments, dealing with telephone queries, responding to emails and letters.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and deadline driven person to join this team. They should have a background of working with figures and applying grant rules. Experience of using Microsoft Excel and databases is essential. The successful candidate must be organised and able to work flexibly, prioritising work as it comes in on a day to day basis. Training on the payments system, databases and other processes will be given. There will be a short numeracy/Excel test at the interview stage.
