DEPUTY ELECTORAL SERVICES MANAGER
The role
If you are an experienced electoral services officer, this is your opportunity to work with a dynamic and focused team which delivers all elections and registration functions in one of the most exciting Inner London boroughs. Our team has two deputy posts - one has recently been successfully filled. We are now seeking to complete our team on the departure of our existing deputy, who has been promoted to work in another local authority.
We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and want to step up into a managerial position. You must be committed to working in the field of democracy, communicating confidently with members of the public, elected representatives, civil society and third sector organisations, as well as liaising with large institutions such as universities.
Our small team works closely with colleagues across the council when delivering elections. Excellent inter-personal skills, team working, experience in supervising staff are all attributes we are looking for.
If you have excellent attention to detail, a desire to make a difference in the democratic environment, a passion for providing excellent customer care to our public and stakeholders, absolute integrity and commitment to working in the public sector, then we would like to hear from you.
