The Environment Agency has a new exciting opportunity for a National Income Service Manager to lead our National Income Service.
Reporting directly to Deputy Director, Operations Regulatory Services, you will lead the billing and income cycle for a number of charge-based income streams, bringing in around £300M of income for regimes across the Environment Agency business.
We are looking for an individual with a strong track record in leadership, delivery and performance. You will drive forward our ambition to develop a truly innovative and resilient income service, alongside supporting our teams to be the best they can be.
You will be involved in ownership of the plan to transform the income and billing service, including the improvement of data quality and digital transformation. You will lead the national income service teams while also promoting and driving best practice in income collection across area and national debt groups.
As an inspiring leader, you’ll understand the challenges of delivering across dispersed teams and have experience of the development, implementation and continuous improvement of processes.
You will have experience of developing people, leading high performing teams, and managing a quality service whilst providing value for money.
A business focussed approach and an understanding of financial processes is key, and you will need strong communication and influencing skills to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
