Graduate Systems Developer Salary from £23,142 to £25,296 pa depending on skills and experience

This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate your IT career within Systems Development; joining a proven development plan you will be assisting in the development of new business processes to help drive and deliver the authorities IT and Digital agenda.

You will be supporting in analysing, designing and implementing transactional systems to aid in the delivery of Council services along with assisting in the development of our web and intranet sites. In addition you will:

  • Identify opportunities that can improve business efficiencies and input into the Council’s Digital Transformation program.
  • Facilitate in re-engineering and integration of legacy applications and processes.

 

In order to excel in this role you will already have a good understanding of customer-led systems development methods and tools and have had exposure to standard systems design and development methodologies, along with:

  • Practical experience of using Object Oriented programming.
  • Good understanding of SDLC
  • Knowledge of working with SQL databases.
  •
