The Prevention Plus Officer proactively prevents homelessness through empowering and supporting vulnerable individuals and households plan their futures as well as providing crises support. Working closely with clients the over a 12 week programme, you will develop individualised support plans, offering personalised, holistic advice covering a diverse range of areas, all with the aim of alleviating homelessness issues, facilitating employment and improving health and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will have experience of assessing people’s needs, in motivating and building the confidence of the hard to reach and long-term unemployed, and in providing information, advice and guidance that enables access to employment or further training, But above all else, if you’re an enthusiastic individual who can deliver successful outcomes on their own initiative while part of a wider team, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to work effectively with diverse communities and a range of partners and stakeholders, then we want to hear from you.
