As part of the Painting and Decorating Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that Council Housing properties and communal areas are painted and decorated to the required high standard.
The post holder will possess painting and decorating skills and will need to work to timescales set out by the Painting and Decorating Supervisor.
The ability to work both as part of a team and with minimum supervision is essential.
Being customer focussed and having good customer care skills are also essential for this post.
An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds qualification in Painting and Decorating, or relevant painting and decorating experience in a maintenance environment is required.
A full current UK driving licence is essential, as the post holder will be required to provide responsive support across the district, and transport all equipment, materials and tools needed.
The post is permanent, working 37 hours, working Monday to Thursday, 8.00 am - 4.30 pm and Friday, 8.00 am - 3.30 pm. The post holder will receive 26 days holiday upon starting, this rises to 31 days holiday upon the completion of 5 consecutive years.
