This is a great time to join our forward thinking and customer-focussed Planning & Building team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Building Control Surveyor who can work across a range of domestic and commercial applications, throughout Andover, Romsey and the Test Valley area.
If you’re an experienced practitioner looking for career development, this role will give you a great opportunity to get involved in pro-actively promoting and developing our Service. Alongside this, you’ll deliver a full range of services including, but not limited to, application processing; issuing decisions; site inspections; and dealing with dangerous structures/demolitions.
Ideally, you’ll have full membership of RICS, CABE or equivalent, or you may be an Associate member experienced in a similar role who is looking to continue developing. Either way, if you have a good knowledge of building construction and regulations, excellent communication skills and confidence in your professional decision-making, we’d love to hear from you.
