We are looking to appoint a Workshop Cleaner, Driver and Support Operative for our vehicle workshop in Hollingdean, Brighton.
About the role
Duties include: Keeping the workshop and equipment clean, tidy and organised. To carry out some unskilled, basic tasks in and around the workshop. Driving and collecting vehicles and parts.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A valid UK Category C HGV driving licence.
- Good driving skills and a good knowledge of the Brighton and Hove area.
- Experience of having worked in a transport or workshop environment will be an advantage.
In the event the successful candidate does not hold a HGV licence, you will be appointed at scale 1-2 (£17,364 to £18,426). Current HGV licence holders will be appointed at scale 3 (£18,795 to £19,171).

Main duties include:
- Cleaning of the vehicle workshop, equipment and the surrounding area
- Organise the workshop stock and vehicle parts.
- Carrying out weekly and monthly checklist of the workshop and equipment.
- Driving vehicles that require service, repairs and MOT
- Collecting vehicles and parts

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
