We’re looking to recruit 2 permanent Senior Enforcement Officer’s to support the Council’s Private Sector Housing enforcement and licensing functions.
Waltham Forest is designated as a Selective Licensing area and was one of the first Councils to adopt and use powers to impose financial penalties as an alternative to prosecution proceedings.
The appointed Officer’s will support the management of accurate enforcement records, including records of payments, monitoring charges levied and refer to legal for debt management. To complete tasks and activities in relation to the strong enforcement ethic of the Private Sector Housing & Licensing Team within the Neighbourhoods & Commercial Services Directorate. Displaying excellent verbal and written communication skills, and flexibility in working patterns and practices. Successful candidates will play a central role in the delivery of licensing objectives, and will also have management responsibility for a team of Assistants.
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated officer’s with a demonstrable commitment to top quality regulatory services.
