The National Citizen Service Delivery Manager will develop the business plan for NCS, coordinating and leading the delivery of the work across Essex. Proactively engaging and strategically co-ordinating contractors, schools, education providers and community partners to develop opportunities for the NCS programmes that increase income generation and develop accessible models. Carrying out due diligence for the NCS Trust and regional management partners to secure new contracts during the re-commissioning process.
The role requires experience of promoting active citizenship, understanding the challenges of reducing exclusion and removing barriers for young people. With experience of building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners and volunteers, to build capacity and engender delivery of high-quality services.
Excellent level of numeracy, literacy (GCSE A - C or equivalent or demonstrable experience) and ICT.
Evidence of continuing professional development and deep knowledge of the NCS programme and the ability to recognise and develop good practice and positive engagement with Awarding Bodies.
Experience of successfully determining, evaluating and publishing NCS outcomes to all stakeholders.

- Experience within project and contract management and working within a complex organisation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability engage young people and adults by demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the NCS offer
