The Universal Youth Service offers youth work sessions and curriculum activities to children and young people aged between 10 and 25, with a focus on the 13 to 19 year age range.
You'll be working with children and young people at our at our young people's centres in Charville, Harlington, Northwood, Ruislip, South Ruislip or West Drayton.
As a Lead Youth & Community Worker you'll deliver our planned youth work activity programme within an information education environment. This work is delivered through various projects and will help children and young people aged 10-25 years to learn about themselves, others and the wider world.

You'll be required to work as part of a team, and at times you'll also work on your own initiative.
You'll be someone who is keen to tackle new things and be willing to take responsibility.
With this in mind, we’re looking for inspiring, innovative, enthusiastic people (ideally with youth worker experience) who share our excitement in helping children and young people in Hillingdon.

There are a number of Lead Youth & Community Worker positions available in the Universal Youth Services.
These are part-time positions. The salary advertised will be pro-rated.
Work patterns include twilight shifts (3:45 pm - 6:45 pm), and evening shifts (6:45 pm -9:45 pm), weekend shifts (10.00 am - 6.00 pm) and occasional residential work.
