Horsham District Council are looking for a 1st Line Support Operator to join our Technology Services Team, supporting the technology requirements across the Council providing a technical, professional and customer focused service.
As 1st Line Support Operator, you will have previous experience in a customer focused environment, you will be IT literate with knowledge of modern computer and communications technologies. You will be enthusiastic, and have excellent organisation skills, the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, along with excellent customer care skills.
Responsibilities will include:
- To act as single point of contact
- To log and process reported incidents and work requests
- To handle new user on boarding and off boarding requests
- To take ownership of support enquiries
- To work alongside 3rd parties
- To provide administration support to the Technology Services department
As 1st Line Support Operator, you will be involved in logging, investigating and updating incidents, whilst ensuring service is provided quickly and professionally. You will assist customers in person, by telephone and by email in a professional and articulate manner and be able to work to personal and team deadlines and targets. You should have a keen willingness to learn and develop skills and technical knowledge.
