BII Data Analyst (Degree Apprentice) Grade 3
The Core Business Improvement and Intelligence (BII) Team is changing! The new Business Improvement and Intelligence Data Analyst (Degree Apprentice) role will help power the ‘engine room’ for the corporate business intelligence team.
Technically skilled and adept, you will drive forward the #digitalfirst Data Management framework to improve data across the organisation. You will also develop innovative solutions to present the data back as information and intelligence to a wide ranging audience.
Some of the skills you may possess could include:
- Data management skills;
- Visualisation (including dashboards, web maps and infographics);
- Integration and consolidation of data from various sources;
- Data mining, machine learning and predictive analytics moving forward.
You must be willing to adapt and work independently but still be a critical part of the team and work closely with your colleagues to ensure a consistent message is provided to customers. That message is – data, information, performance and intelligence is crucial in driving forward change and improvement.
You will need 260 points with at least 160 from two GCE/VCE A levels or equivalent BTEC National qualifications that includes maths as a subject area. General studies and AS levels may count towards these points.
