We are seeking a professional, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to assist Chelmsford City Council’s Building Services team, in maintaining its diverse range of buildings.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to become a key officer in the coordination of reactive, cyclical & programmed maintenance contracts. Within this construction-based role you will be involved in the effective and efficient management of the work needed to maintain and improve the many assets and buildings that the Council own. These include high profile sites, such as, Hylands House, the Civic Centre, Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre, High Chelmer Multi Story Car Park and Chancellor Park Pavilion, together with a wide range of other interesting properties.
You will be based at the Civic Centre Offices in Chelmsford, but you will also be required to travel to sites within the district.
