Here in Social Care, Health and Housing, we support people to live independently and make sure great care is available to meet the needs of our increasing population of older people. We’re transforming our existing sheltered housing, building brand new independent living complexes, re-providing day centres and planning for another 1,500 independent living places. Focused on personalisation, we’re putting a focus on working in partnership with the NHS and providers across the care sector. You’ll find your own greatness as you support effective service delivery and transformation across the Social Care Health & Housing Directorate. 

As an Engagement and Consultation Officer within the Social Care, Health and Housing Directorate, you will support the Directorate to communicate with, engage and consult with service users, carers and wider stakeholders.

Having a proven track record of consultation and engagement work, you will be motivated, organised and will communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. You will be a keen learner, with the ability to generate new ideas and alternative options, and develop realistic and practical Communication and Engagement Plans.
