Lewisham Fleet Services supplies and maintains vehicles and plant to all council departments to assist in the delivery of vital services to residents. Currently Lewisham operates 300 vehicles covering a wide range of types which includes HGV and PSV vehicles and specialist plant.
A fully qualified HGV/PSV vehicle repair Technician.
Wearside Service Centre,Wearside Road Service Centre ,Wearside Road ,Lewisham SE13 7EZ.
What we’re looking for
A fully qualified HGV and PSV vehicle technician ,must have detailed knowledge of Drivers and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) standards of vehicle maintenance.
Experience in repair of refuse vehicle compaction vehicles would be an advantage but training will be given.
A current category C license is desirable but training up to this standard will be offered to the right candidate after suitable probation period.

£30,612 - £32,400 pa (SO1) plus shift allowance and stand-by payments.
Day shifts to include regular Saturday and Sunday working.
