Islington Council is one of the largest social landlords in the country, we deliver a comprehensive housing management service within a challenging inner city environment.
Our goal is:
“to make Islington fairer and create a place where everyone, whatever their background, has the same opportunity to reach their potential and enjoy a good quality of life”.
You will need to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and housing management experience through effective case management. We are looking for resilience, dynamism, ability to problem solve situations and work well supporting your team and our residents with a can do attitude.
If you like a challenge, have a genuine commitment to housing management and you are keen to improve the lives of residents then we would like to hear from you.
You will be working collaboratively with a number of statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the service. More crucially you will be working to support vulnerable tenants to sustain their tenancies.
Experience in domestic violence case management, tenancy changes, tenancy enforcement, including low-level anti-social behaviour will hold you in good stead. Equally, you will have highly developed Information Technology and Organisational skills.
In return we can offer you training, development, and flexible working hours.
