Hill Park School is a two site (Primary/ Secondary) special school for pupils aged 4 - 16 years for pupils with needs ranging from moderate (MLD), severe (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Some pupils also have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum condition (ASC), complex medical needs or physical disabilities.
This role is to support a pupil in KS3 and will be based at the upper site in the first instance. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career as a trained Intervenor for a pupil who is MSI (vision and hearing impaired). You will be trained to use Braille and specialist equipment to create raised diagrams and pictures to assist the pupil in her learning. You will work 1-1 with the pupil and her family to give her outstanding access to all aspects of school life; however you will be working alongside another 1-1 Teaching Assistant and an additional pupil with visual impairment in the same class.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
