Are you looking for the opportunity to bring your financial knowledge and skills to the fore in helping East Sussex sustain a healthy future for its residents and economy by making more effective use of our resources to improve the health and social care services of our population?
Do you want to contribute to the financial focus our integration plans and agenda with the local NHS and Adult Social Care organisations?
Can you bring creativity and drive to our team and partnerships and seek out new learning and development opportunities to strengthen the combined efforts across our county to deliver strong and financially sustainable health and social care outcomes?
East Sussex is a great county in which to work across organisational boundaries supporting and advising system transformation project, programme and executive leads to coordinate and develop financial management of change within our Health and Social Care System Portfolio Management Office. Based in Lewes, just 10 minutes by train from Brighton and just over an hour from Central London, we offer a flexible approach to working, and the support of a large team and stable leadership.
We have made excellent progress in designing a transformation plan for East Sussex health and social care services and we now need to underpin this with a cross-organisational financial framework.
- You’ll be keen to work with the heads of finance across East Sussex and ensure full oversight of transformational impact from a finance perspective.
- Develop reporting models and frameworks to ensure processes are effective and efficient.
- Provide financial expertise to new service redesigns to ensure cases are financially robust.
- Hold a CCAB qualification, CIMA or overseas equivalent qualification or be part qualified with an ability to demonstrate an equivalent level of experience in NHS or Local Authority Finance.
