We have recently restructuredour service to increase resilience, better align with the Council’s functions,and are now looking for highlycompetent, enthusiastic and motivated professionals to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

You will be one of a small team of lawyers dealing with a variety ofenforcement matters, including some high profile and exciting cases. You will be able to demonstrateexperience of providing advice and conducting litigationacross a range of regulatory functions including, but not limited to, crimeand anti-social behaviour, environmental health, licensing, and enforcementunder the Housing Act 2004. You willhave recent experience of conducting advocacy and advising at LicensingCommittee.

You willbe able to conduct a caseload, including complex matters, with minimumsupervision and will be accustomed to working at pace in a busy team.



Requirements

You mustbe a Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or Fellow of CILEX and hold a Practisingcertificate. Previous applicants should not reapply.
