You will be one of a team of lawyers in our busy contracts teamproviding support to central procurement and service areas for the Council’spurchasing. The work is varied and challenging and you will have theopportunity to broaden your skills. Youwill be accustomed to using JCT and other types of construction contracts andthe provision of advice on Contract and Procurement. You will participate inmulti-disciplinary project boards and provide advice on some complexprojects. You will be able todemonstrate an in depth knowledge of the legislative framework, have good drafting and analyticalskills and be accustomed to working at pace.
Experienceof providing advice on state aid, local authority companies and company lawwill be an advantage.
You mustbe a Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or Fellow of CILEX and hold a practisingcertificate.Recent applicants should not reapply.
