Based in Lynton House, Ilford working as part of the Parking and Traffic team, you will be responsibility for managing the team of Parking and CCTV technicians. As well as providing support with regards to challenges, representations, appeals and court documentation relating to Penalty Charge Notices. You will also be required to provide general parking advise and support on permit applications across the borough.
You will be required to provide support and assistance to the Customer Contract Centre in dealing with public phone calls. Which will require you to remain calm and polite in stressful situations.
You will need to be able to prioritise heavy workloads as well as deal with Stage 1 complaints, Members Enquiries and Freedom of Information requests.
The successful candidate will require good written and verbal communication skills, with knowledge or experience of parking/moving traffic enforcement and debt recovery. You will also need to have experience in managing a team of officers.
