We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Officer to enhance outcomes across a range of areas including Behaviour and Attendance Collaborative (BACs), Elective Home Education, Education Welfare and to support educational practice across both looked after children and previously looked after children.
The successful candidate will work within a team of Inclusion and Education Welfare Inclusion Officers who are focused on strong educational outcomes for children and young people across North East Lincolnshire.
The role will have direct involvement with schools and academies on daily basis offering support and challenge across a range of distinct areas. Direct involvement with children, young people and parents/carers will be a key element of the role. Strong communication skills, effective relationship management across a range of stakeholders/partners and experience of leadership or management are all desirable within those applying for this role.
Strong interpersonal skills are an essential criterion within the role and combining this with a strong ethos of inclusive practice will be key in striving to support vulnerable and hard to reach children and young people to achieve education outcomes across North East Lincolnshire.
