This is an exciting opportunity for a housing professional with experience of leading a team to join us on a temporary basis until 31st March 2020. Working within a busy Income Management Service you will deliver outstanding performance and contribute to service transformation.
You will be joining us during a period of change, supporting the Service Manager and Financial Inclusion Team in providing a customer focused income recovery service. You will respond to the current and future challenges faced by housing providers in a highly demanding area of work which is both rewarding and challenging. We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual to join our team who can make a real difference.
You will manage and motivate the team, and deliver outstanding customer focused services whilst achieving challenging performance targets.
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who can work with colleagues and partners to achieve positive outcomes and sustain tenancies.
You will provide advice to officers and work closely with the Council's legal team, representing the Council when required at Court.
It is advantageous if you have a good knowledge of housing legislation and welfare benefit reforms, and are passionate about making a difference.
