Secretary/PA to Deputy Chief Executive (Maternity Cover)
Fixed Term contract for a period of six months - subject to review
30-37 hours per week, working 4 or 5 days per week
Inclusive salary range from (pro rata) £28,514 Up To £31,980 per year

In this post you will be providing maternity cover for this post, providing a tailored secretarial service to the Deputy Chief Executive (Finance & Legal). You will be undertaking proactive diary management, assisting with committee reports, preparing presentations and drafting correspondence including responding to customer and Councillors’ enquiries.
The ability to develop a strong working with the Deputy Chief Executive (Finance & Legal) in order to respond appropriately to his particular working requirements is therefore essential.
You will also be providing administrative support to service managers within the department on specific pieces of work/projects (e.g. assisting with reports and correspondence). You will also be the departmental lead for co-ordinating internal administrative processes such as Payroll and HR returns, incoming mails).
An excellent communicator you must be IT literate with proven organisational skills. A flexible approach to work and the ability to solve problems using your own initiative are essential assets for this post.
