We are seeking an experienced HR Team Leader with a passion for employee relations.
The role of HR Team Leader will involve leading a team of HR Advisors. The team is responsible for managing the employee relations and resourcing requirements of the largest service area of the organisation.
This position is based at the Uxbridge Civic Centre, and involves managing and coaching a small team, taking a proactive business partnering approach to service delivery and maintaining a culture of continuous development. Responsibilities will include providing professional, high quality HR advice and guidance, managing a high volume workload (including complex case work) and delivering on team performance targets. This role is essential for the delivery and development of our HR service, and for the wellbeing and performance of the organisation.
About the person
Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor role would be an excellent fit for this position.
You will be working with a range of contacts both internally and externally; such as senior managers, directors, employees, trade unions and employee representatives, so it is essential that you have excellent communication skills, to allow you to develop contacts and relationships with customer groups. You will be responsible for providing guidance and direction to your team, identifying areas for improvement and providing innovative solutions. You must be knowledgeable in employment law, marketplace intelligence and HR best practice.

The HR Team Leader is a key role, and we are looking for somebody who can work flexible hours where required. (Please note for this vacancy you must hold a CIPD qualification at Level 7 (or equivalent), a relevant managers qualification and a current CIPD membership)
