The role
These roles are part of an exciting new project in The Private Sector Housing Agency (or PSHA as we are known) at Lewisham Council.

The PSHA is at the centre of Lewisham Council’s work with the private rented sector. Our team improves property and management standards across the sector; sources good quality homes for homeless households; and manages growing portfolio of private sector leased properties and hostels.

3 x Resettlement Officers are being recruited to help households find and sustain homes in the private rented sector. You will provide a high quality advice, lettings and tenancy sustainment service. This will help tenants transition from temporary accommodation to a more settled home either in Lewisham or in areas where they can grow and thrive. Your role will be part tenancy support and part property procurement officer, helping them to find their new home. This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service skills and an ability to close a deal.

We are happy to consider temporary secondments from other organisations.

In addition to this, there is the potential for one permanent Resettlement Officer role within the team.
