More about the role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the community Reablement Team and Step Up Down Units within Central Bedfordshire.
In Adult Social Care, we want every person in Central Bedfordshire to have responsive, customer focuesed care and support - making this a great place to live and work. As a Physiotherapist, you'll be at the heart on supporting vulnerable people to bre safe, well and as independent as possible.
 
The successful Physiotherapist will be working within the Reablement Team and the Step Up Down Units. The team aim to provide up to 6 weeks support to people, to enable them to return home and maximise their independence and safety. You will work as part of an integrated multi - disciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Co ordinators and Support Workers. The team's role will be to promote the independence of adults and older people in need of community care services and their carers by assessing their needs, promoting enablement and reablement.
 
The service works on close partnership with other health and care sytems and has recently reviewed the customer pathway to enhance experience and deliver positvie integrated outcomes. Through Intrergrated Operations, we work alongside our Community Health Service provider to deliver a multi-disciplinary approach to Integrated Health and Social Care.
 
You will be required to have a degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy. Be HCPC registered and recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist with community experience.
