You will join our small Environmental Protection team, providing an efficient and effective Environmental Health service. As a key member of the team you will be dealing with a broad and interesting caseload, relating to environmental protection and anti-social behaviour enforcement.
Your main responsibility will be the investigation of complaints relating to statutory nuisance and anti-social behaviour. You will also be required to carry out inspections under the environmental permitting and caravan site licensing regimes.
The service has moved towards remote working. You will therefore need to have a proven ability to work on your own initiative as well as having good communication and judgement skills. A pro-active approach and a high commitment to customer care will also be required.
Applications are invited from candidates holding a degree and having relevant experience. Further professional/academic qualifications would be an advantage.
In return we offer a range of work life balance benefits (including flexible working arrangements and free use of our leisure facilities), an essential user car allowance, pension scheme, development opportunities, and free car parking.
