We are looking to recruit passionate, enthusiastic and motivated newly qualified Social Workers to grow with us in our Childrens service!
The ASYE has been positively promoted in Thurrock since its pilot in 2012. We established our ASYE academy in 2014, and have a permanent ASYE manager in place who NQSW's will meet with on a monthly basis, as well as experienced and committed ASYE assessors. We provide NQSW's with protected caseloads, group supervision, reflective supervision, training and support throughout their first year in practice.
We are confident that we have developed a strong programme designed to support our individual NQSW's to build the knowledge, skills and confidence required to be the best social worker they can be through training, practice support and supervision. In Thurrock we encourage and empower our social workers and senior practitioners to undertake meaningful interventions and to be passionate about ensuring the best outcomes for our children, young people and families. We use Signs of Safety as our practice model and you will receive training/support to practice confidently using this model of social work intervention.
We believe continuity is important in the lives of children and young people so for that reason we are looking for newly qualified Social Workers who are looking at ASYE and beyond, who are striving to begin a successful and rewarding social work career!
