Financial Processes Officer
£23,522- £26,539 inclusive of outer fringe allowance
37 hours per week
We are looking for a Financial Processes Officer to join our Finance team.
You will be working within a team to deliver a broad range of financial activities relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and banking.
You will be responsible for the area of accounts receivable, but will work with the other Financial Processes Officers to support other areas when required to meet the team’s objectives.
You will undertake processes on our financial systems which ensure the timely collection of debts and also be responsible for answering queries from customers and members of staff about the accounts receivable processes. In addition you will support the other Financial Processes Officers in the prompt payment of invoices, accurate processing of payroll and correct allocation of income received by the Council.
- Be educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Have relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll or banking
- Have experience of working in an office environment
