The Firs is a four-bedded short breaks centre based in the west of the Borough of Harrow. We provides a flexible short breaks service, which is available to all families in Harrow where there is a child/young person between the ages of 5 and 18 who has a severe learning disability. The aim is to provide children/young people with a variety of experiences and relationships outside of their own home whilst also providing families with a break from meeting the additional support needs of the children/young people.

We are looking for enthusiastic staff who are committed to ensuring that children with a disability receive a high quality short break service based on their individual needs.
Extra Hours Information: Ability to do shift work late shift (2.30pm - 9.30pm) and early shifts (7.30am and some 7am start until 3pm) midweek, weekends and bank holidays all on a rota basis., We work with a 5 week rota, 36 hours a week over a five week period, hence working 180hrs spread over the 5 weeks, working 3 weekends in 5.
1x Residential Support Worker G7 (plus unsocial hours enhancements after 8pm only) full time 36hrs per week on a rota basis
