Senior Social Worker AMHP - Duty
Salary: Up to £42,152 (BR13+2) (Pro rata'd when part time) from 1st April 2019
In addition you will receive £2,000 annual retention and £2,000 Golden Hello and other excellent benefits
The London Borough of Bromley, in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit full-time Senior Social Workers /AMHPs to work within our Community Mental Health teams in Orpington and Penge and also the centrally based AMHP Duty Team based at Green Parks House, Princess Royal University hospital.
Senior Social Workers (AMHPs) work closely with the community and in-patient multi-disciplinary colleagues to support adults with mental health difficulties and their carer’s. Your role will be to offer support to both community and in-patient services, with the focus on working together with service users to enhance their independence and quality of life. You will be expected to undertake the statutory requirements of your role and that of the local authority to include safeguarding, both adult and children.

We aim to develop and maintain a culture of continuous learning and will actively promote this throughout your employment, ensuring through good quality supervision both managerial and professional that you are developing and delivering on the skills and knowledge required for the post.
You must hold a Dip SW or CQSW (or equivalent) or be RGN/RMN or OT qualified as well as being HCPC or NMC registered and it is expected that you will have safeguarding and supervisory experience. If you have any of the above qualifications and relevant experience, we would like to hear from you. Senior Social Workers are expected to undertake appropriate training and take responsibility for their continuing professional development.
