Wirral Council is looking for an experienced Lead Auditor to assist in the delivery of a modern highly effective internal audit service operating across the full range of public sector services provided by a large metropolitan authority utilising a number of different delivery models.
The successful candidates should be able to demonstrate professional auditing skills and expertise across a wide range of public sector audit work including risk management, control, and governance; and either be full/part qualified or studying towards a relevant professional qualification recognised by the CIIA, CCAB or equivalent.
